My stay at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach was certainly a mix of highs and lows. The beach staff was really good, providing attentive service that made my beach time a delight. However, I found the pool service lacking, and the room had a few issues that prevented it from reaching the Ritz standards I expected.

The room was spacious and generally clean, but it felt unfinished. There were some maintenance issues like a malfunctioning phone and a safe that didn't work. The salt-covered windows were a disappointment, diminishing the views I had hoped for.

I experienced moments where the pool staff seemed casual and untrained, which detracted from the luxurious experience I anticipated. Housekeeping also struggled, as they didn't arrive until late in the evening one day.
